Taiwan Day 50

After so long only decided to complete the last post about my story in Taiwan... Is already 6 months... The fact is, I got Nick's postcard this afternoon, and I really miss him a lot recently~ *Boa said Ah zai reserving some of  his UK frens for me XP* So, this just remind me I was spending my very last day in Taiwan with him.. So, my last post on Taiwan journey, dedicated to Nicholas Leung =)

I remembered, the last day, I walked around Hsinchu town area with Nick.. To be more exact, shopping with him?  Walked into few Nike/Adidas and Puma shop to get a hoodies, and ya, finally I got my blue Nike hoodies with 40% discount..

Still remember, the kids that cried a lot while we waiting for the bus back to the trainee house.. His mum dragged him into the bus... =) 
Nick brought me to his fav restaurant and we had our lunch there.. Huge portion, and I couldn't finish it.. Anyway, he treated me this set lunch as farewell..

Meeting up with Nav and Vagiz.. Nav just came back from Hua Lian and Vagiz came back from his scooter+around Taiwan trip.. 4 of us went to  a teppanyaki restaurant nearby, to have the farewell dinner.. Is like my whole journey that always stick with 4 of them,*included Wynlim*, and now going to say goodbye to them soon.. I feel sick, and I didn't order anything from the restaurant.. After the dinner with them, we back to trainee house, and Jerry& Iris were here.. They came to trainee house just to say goodbye to me.. and Those just got back from farm, Jess, Angela,Boa, Agnes and Vera..

My flight is at 11.35pm, where Howard, gonna accompany me all the way to airport.. Hugged everyone of them tightly and had snap shot together.. *pictures, that without Wynlim, seem lack of the important one* Is time to leave, and Nick helped me to drag the luggage, to the street outside of the trainee house where I'm gonna to take the shuttle bus to THSR station and then to the Taoyuan airport.. My last hug to him, Thanks Nick  =')

The whole journey to airport,thought will be boring, however, Howard did talk alot compared to usual.. surprisingly.. He is kinda quiet person... Manager Howard, thanks for sending me to the airport.. CTLC always the caring one as usual..  I texted everyone using the Taiwan number, for last goodbye, switched off the phone, walked into the awaiting area and got into the plane.. Landed on Malaysia about 4am..












*******officially ended.. my 50days in Taiwan... ********

Just 4 hours distance, separated the friends that I met in this 50 days, kinda sad to say goodbye...
I miss you guys a lot, really.. =')

Taiwan Day 49

Date:07/08/12

Venue: 頤禾園有機農園 the green farm

 

Wake up at 6.45am.. Was sleeping on the sofa after ate medicine.. *The one who skype without earphone was so annoying* Yeah, I am going to spend the day in farm… Nick will go to the farm at noon.. JingNing as well…

So, Boa, Jess and I went to farm.. followed Aunty to the market to buy ingredients to cook Bah Kut Teh later.. Is my 1^st time to cook, so, I just hope it wont taste bad after all.. HAHHA .. 2day farm work as usual, bring the goats to eat some grasses, help to collect the vegetables, plant seed, watering the vegetables, feed chicken.. Best part of the day is in the kitchen where experience cooking 1^st time ever in my life… LOL.. well, due to I was having flu, so, I can’t taste any smell, Thanks to Boa and Jess helped me to taste the BKT.. end up, it was not bad(Success!) .. The farmer said I can graduate now.. HAHHHA.. Too bad Nick couldn’t taste the dishes that we cooked since he haven’t fully recover from diarrhea

Night time, farmer bring us to a restaurant nearby… well, a farewell dinner for Nick, JinNing and me… and of course definitely beer.. 1^st time drunk where I can’t walk properly even fall down from the chair*SO EMBARASSING!!!* after at least 10 times one shot… we are so worry on the plans later.. scare we couldn’t make it to give the farmer a surprise later..

The plan is we will go to his house which like 20 min walking distance from the trainee house, and celebrate father’s day with him since 8^th August is Father’s day in Taiwan… Luckily, we reached trainee house around 9.30pm… Terrance and Agnes laughed at me because I can’t walk straight.. *long sigh, Thanks to the farmer for that ==* And we made it!!! Farmer was so surprise =)  but honestly, this is what we could do for him.. really appreciate that he always taking care of us while we are away from our country, is like our father in Taiwan.. =) Aunty as well… God Bless them..

2moro plan? Meet Jerry and walk around in Hshinchu if possible… Nav haven’t get back from HuaLian…

Taiwan Day 47 & 48

Date: 5/8/12 ; 6/8/12

Venue: 菁桐,平溪,十分，101，国父纪念馆;SM专卖店; ChingTong, PingXi, ShiFen, 101, Sun Yat Sen Memorial hall ; SM authorized shop

Wake up at 7.30am…Brain was quite blur at this morning…. Due to not really can sleep well since was wake up by a call to Terrance at 3am.. I was thinking my alarm rang or others iphone  alarm rang… swt…

Thank goodness we able to catch up the bus to Taipei this morning at 9am… Ale(the Mexican girl) nvr contact me and I forget to get contact no from her as well, so she didn’t join us for the trip.. Nick still suffered from diarrhea*pity him… Unfortunately, we have an hour to walk around in the Taipei main station due to we unable to make it for the train to Ruifang瑞芳 at 10.45am.. have to wait for next round at 11.45am..because of that, I finally know how to see the schedule from the booklet *special thanks to the uncle who help us to buy the tickets…

Walking around the main station…Looking for the money exchanger as well*but since is Sunday, so is closed…  Took a pamphlet about PingXi平溪 at the information counter*the aunty at the counter can speak so many languages, daebak!... Saw a Malay in MacD and realize that I had not seen a Malay nearly 2 months… Finally manage to catch the train to Ruifang and the train is very PACK.. Get to know Tony,a handicapped passenger who want to go KaoXiong…

As all in my plan, reached RuiFang Station and bought the tickets for this Pingxi trip *NT$52 for the whole trip, where you can ride on the train how many times as u wish for the day…  So, start with my 1st station as planned*which was the last station in Pingxi lane--- QingTong 菁桐.. cam here because of the movie /那些年> well, the train station where the main actor and actress got their romantic dating there LOL…. *This trip definitely a nice place for couples to have their dates XP.. There is a LOVER BRIDGE here, according to the grandma who sell the icecream*the ice cream stall even visited by SuperJunior M members-Siwon, Donghae ,Sungmin and ZhouMi oppa*, she said that once u walked through this bridge, you can get married/a bf in 3 months… Hahhahah, we’ll see then... I guess the Nick’s probability is the highest among us.. XP Ah zai, HWAITING! The souvenir shops in Qingtong old streets are quite nice especially which sell a lot of postcards here*aiks, if I know earlier, I will get the special 1 for you, brother *

Due to tied schedule, we only spend around 1hr there… After that, around 2.10pm, we get in the train again to Pingxi平溪..Pingxi is the place well known of the Kong Ming lantern*天灯/孔明灯.. The lantern where you wrote ur wishes on it and light up the middle part*theory of hot air balloon, and the lantern rise higher and higher… With the hope of God will see the wishes that we wrote and fulfill you dream… Visited the 石底桥, *the main actor confessed to actress on the bridge =)... After that we decided to have our lunch 1^st before getting our lantern.. We need heavy food to recharge back energy =) but too bad there are two shops that sell heavy food---sausage… and due to long queue and slow services, Boa and Vera queue up for 1hr for the sausage.. ==!!! Ruined up my plan.. sigh… while waiting for another trip of the train, we had our lantern as well! =) wrote down our LAME wishes*like getting a bf/get marry/ London Olympics and etc and let it go!!! Well, hoping God will saw our wishes…

Got up the train heading to Shifen十分… reached there is already 4.50pm *aiks, the sausage ruined up my plan =(  , earlier plan is to watch sunset at JiuFen 九份, but we couldn’t make it, so, watch the sunset at the waterfall then… The old street in shifen is very nice as well.. Many people letting go the lantern on the railway track.. the most creative part is where some of them put the firecracker on the lantern, so, the lantern looks even more beautiful than the normal one =)  Walked for half an hour, passing by the coal museum and pay NT$70 for entrance fees of waterfall…  hmm.. the waterfall is nice, with the peaceful surrounding—some animals, small garden, so, many visitors with their family having their own sweet time over there… get back to the shifen old street at 6.30pm.. the lantern looks even more beautiful when the sky started to turn dark.. No appetite to eat dinner, so, I skipped dinner then.. and my sickness getting worst.. Flu getting worst and I started to feel dizzy.. ahh… the thing is we have to wait for 1 hr again for the train back to Ruifang station.. Nick,Boa and Vera will get back to trainee house after this because Nick need to consult a doctor.. Me and Agnes will go to Jiufen for the nightview and old street…

However, we found the bus stand to jiufen but the taxi driver suggest us not to go there since already 8.30pm because the shops at the old streets almost closed.. Well, got no choice then, we walked around at the Ruifang town and had our dinner at the food street nearby*I had 鲁肉饭pork slices rice… Get into train to Taipei at 9.40pm.. I got fever and flu already, whole body feel so tired.. Aiks, so, I decided to cancel my plan to SanXia old street and ShiDa night market the next day, will get back to trainee house after visit the SM authorized shop…

Get to Taipei 101 tower.. Followed BanNan line板南线 to shizheng station 市政站 and walk for 10min ++ you will be seeing the 101 tower.. Thought that the night life in Taipei will be better, but unfortunately, Taiwanese are very discipline, we even feel some difficulties to get a place to stay for whole night.. Get in MacD but we are not allow to sleep.. aiks, lucky Agnes can nap for a while because her back facing the staff, If I fall asleep, it will be too obvious then.. My flu getting worst because lack of sleep… Around 4.30am, we went back to 7eleven nearby because I really need a rest.. Nap for 3 hrs, and tried to get a way to the Sun Yet Sen memorial hall by feet*because from the map, it seem near and we can save some transport fee as well but both of us lost somewhere and somehow have to get back to MRT station to the memorial hall.. LOL… *finally I manage to exchange my RM to NT; Agnes, sorry to let ypu wait for me..

Manage to get to the memorial hall.. I managed to watch the ceremony by honor guards in the memorial hall and also the water fountain with music  … But too bad, I not really enjoy everything because my body is too tired due to the flu and fever.. Heading to SM authorized shop, it is situated at许昌街, XuChang street near Taipei Main Station.. and we made it! Reached there and was attracted by all the SM product.. aiks, too bad DBSK section is too small T^T feel so down.. I din buy many things, just bought two I.AM badges.. well, I refuse to buy the album, still wishing to get the 1^st press

Then, back to the station and get a bus to back to HsinChu.. Agnes rushing to back for the summer camp meeting.. Due to the fever and flu, I straight away sleep with blanket cover the body*I feel too cold although the weather is warm* after ate medicine… The rest of the day not important, just sleep and rest the whole day..

• Nick diarrhea getting worst
• 5 of us collected the stamping during the whole trip LOL

• Saw the old lady and old man on the way we went back to the shifen old street, remind me of he no longer with us for 4 months already, I feel down =( 

• Found the 奶酥饼 that my bro want =) 

• Sick getting worst… hope my sick will get better 2moro, I wanna go to the farm before I left Taiwan
